We thank Gökçe Nur for coordinating this meeting and for her leadership in advancing BEACON’s work on artificial intelligence. We look forward to her update and the collective insights of our members as we continue shaping this important area of the network’s activity.
We are also grateful to Ivan Ogasawara from Open Science Labs for launching a new seed funding and mentoring initiative in collaboration with BEACON. This program will enhance our engagement with the open science and open source communities.
In addition, Neha Basnet will be presenting an important new opportunity related to Erasmus+ grant applications focused on educational technologies and health. Neha will also be leading the coordination of this call for BEACON, and we look forward to hearing more about the timeline and scope of the proposed collaborations during her presentation.
These initiatives represent vital steps in our shared efforts to broaden BEACON’s reach and impact. They come alongside our pending application for EU COST Science and Technology Coordination Action funding (decision expected in approximately 52 days), and the outcomes of two EU4Health calls submitted earlier this year, which remain under evaluation.
As for the literature review on One Health Education, we will be sharing the updated protocol with co-authors very soon. We appreciate your patience, and warmly extend once again the invitation to all BEACON members interested in contributing to this first collective publication. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to be added to the working group and mailing list.
To ensure that those who cannot attend the live meeting can still participate meaningfully, we invite you to leave your questions, reflections, or comments directly on this post or any other mean. This will allow us to gather your input in advance and follow up with responses and updates after the call. Your contributions are deeply valued, and we hope to continue strengthening BEACON’s collaborative spirit both during and between our meetings.
Looking forward to seeing many of you on April 4th.
Kindest regards.
