New streaming channel, organizational changes and few other unassorted news on our action
Memorandum of understanding, presentation videos and chairs workshop in Brussels
Reading time: 2 min - Call for action leaders, new projects, and video presentations.
We are currently seeking committed experts to assume leadership roles within our action. Each position should be co-led by at least two members, ensuring both resilience and shared responsibility. If you have any proposal in mind, please share about it, clearly stating its goals and projected means to achieve it. The network is here to facilitate and support. The new structure resulting from this will strengthen our coordination and collective direction. Your dedication to rigorous, collaborative leadership is central to our shared success.
At least one video call will take place this month to review the ongoing processes, and potentially an open chairs work-shop to be hold in person in Brussels by the COST organization, along with leaders of other actions. The exact date and time for the in-person and online events will be announced as soon as possible. This all is to help us align and move forward together, as is the drafting of our action memorandum of understanding, and other such tasks now at hand.
I am also encouraging you to join our communications team, a space to foster connection, both screen and welcome members where needed, promote ongoing initiatives, and reach younger audiences through clear and accessible formats. This collaborative effort supports our commitment to sharing knowledge and growing together. A new video series is underway, designed to present our work, engage with fellow professionals, and cultivate an environment of reciprocal teaching and discovery. It will feature concise clips, formula format, alongside extended content such as interviews, lectures, presentations, reports, and debates. All members are encouraged to contribute.: interviews, footage of your work, along with other recorded materials, are all welcome. A streamlined system for submitting content will be available shortly. Following is an initial presentation:
Our new YouTube channel, already with 20,000 subscribers, mostly children eager to learn about One Health, open science, and technology, is now available. We aim to broaden the viewer base to include fellow experts and allies, establishing it as a key space to get to know each other, along this platform, in an increasingly large, cohesive network. This will be a main dissemination platform for our respective work.
For the formula presentation videos, all members and allies are invited to present themselves by answering a few simple questions in short video format. For the time being, please send the footage by email:
What do you do?
How was the journey there?
Why, and what do you envision as next steps?
Thank you for being part of this action. Let us continue advancing our shared goals, becoming stronger, learning from each other each passing day. The address for video submissions and other communication is [email protected] . Thanks again.
My best wishes for a great weekend to all.
