The One Health approach recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. Integrating SDG-focused teaching methods into higher education is essential for preparing future professionals to address these complex and interdependent challenges. This seminar aligns with BEACON’s ongoing efforts to strengthen One Health education by:
Encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration in sustainability and health education.
Exploring non-traditional teaching methods that equip students with systems thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to global health and environmental crises.
Supporting the integration of sustainability competencies into medical and health sciences curricula.
We encourage members of the BEACON network and other interested colleagues to attend and share this invitation with their professional networks. The 2025 SDGs Teaching Methods Series offers a valuable platform to engage with leading experts and contribute to the advancement of education for sustainability and health.
Kind regards,
BEACON Network Team
